The ultimate vintage Fringe Jacket... 80's Cowgirl Vibes!!!

So we're almost in July and I can't believe how quick this year has flew by, it needs to slow down and we need an actual summer that's more than a few sunny days! I'm off to Glasgow for Trnsmt Festival next week and I cannot wait to get dressed up all sequiny and glittery. I wish I was going to more festivals this year but I'm going on holiday in a few weeks so unfortunately I can't really afford more than a couple. I go to Leeds Festival every year as tradition, so that may be the only other one I get chance to go to this summer :-( So for today's post the main outfit piece is actually a piece I had in mind for festivals when I bought it. It's a pink vintage suede jacket with tassel fringing and shoulder pads for ultimate 80s cowgirl vibes. It was from Rokit Vintage and still had the tags in, but I brought it from depop. The colour is amazing and I've always liked fringed jackets but just never found a vintage one that fit, it was a risk buying from depop as it wasn't super cheap, but it paid off as I love the oversized fit. I've gone for a simple look with some vintage mom jeans and a black bardot top with some big fishnets underneath and pulled a little higher so you can see them on the waist. I'm sure I'll be teaming it with less simple outfits at festivals, as the colour will look great with so many things and is the perfect jacket for when it gets cold in the evening, or even in the day as we are in England after all! I wore my fave fur sliders which I have absolutely worn to death the last couple of months, I think I need to get myslef another pair as they're starting to wear down. They're so easy to slip on and literally go with everything and they're super comfy and an absolute bargain at £6! I accessorised with a couple of chokers and layered necklaces, a western style belt, black fedora, velvet backpack and some mirrored sunnies.

What I'm wearing.... Bardot Frill Parrot Jumpsuit!!!

Finally we've had a little bit more sunshine this week and it's starting to feel a bit more like summer. I'm officially on holiday countdown now with 5 weeks to go, I haven't been abroad for 3 years so I'm really looking forward to some proper sunshine. I'm also on countdown to Trnsmt Festival in 3 weeks, the line up is so good and it will be the first proper festival of the year for me, so then it really will feel like summer!! So for today's post it's a pretty simple one as it consists of a jumpsuit, but a fab jumpsuit at that. It's from my work (Oasis) and is a black jumpsuit with lime green parrots all over it with a Bardot top with frill detail. I absolutely loved the Bardot trend last summer and I'm so glad it's came back around this year, it's such a lovely flattering style and I particularly love the frill on this. It has a tie waist and elasticated hem to the legs, it is supposed to be a cropped style but as I'm quite short it's full length on me. It's in a nice lightweight material so is great for summer and can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with some sliders. Even though I work there Oasis is not always to my taste but they've got it bang on with this Tropical package and there's so many nice pieces. I love bright colours and prints so it was the perfect package for me and I've ended up with a few pieces. I went for a more dressy look with some fur heels and a lime bag, I accessorised with my fave Pom Pom earrings and a daisy choker. Finishing off the look with some bird metalwork sunglasses, Pom Pom bobbles and green glittery lips!

What I'm wearing... Spliced T-shirt Dress & Tiered Mesh!!!

So it was my birthday at the weekend and I'm feeling very old, I'm getting dangerously close to 30 now I'm 28, but I still feel and act like a teenager, but seriously where does the time go! I did however have a lovely day at the zoo in the sunshine and got some lovely gifts. So for today's blog post I'm going for the grunge/girly trend of casual tees and dressy mesh, it's a trend I really like as I like to be a bit grungey at times but still like a girly touch to the outfit. I've bought a few items recently that are this kind of style which I will also be blogging at some point. But for today's outfit I've gone for a spliced t-shirt dress, it's black on one side and grey on the other with a motif to the front, the idea is that it is two different tops merged together so the motifs are different and the hem is uneven to give this effect. I really like this style and there's so many nice ones on the highstreet in tops and dress versions. It's such an easy comfy dress to just throw on for day to day wear but can also be dressed up. I've dressed it up a little by layering it with this tiered mesh midi dress. This mesh dress is also great as it can be dressed down with a tee like this or dressed up with a plain cami dress and heels. I had my eye on it for a few weeks then it went in the sale so I had to purchase, I also picked it up in a dusky pink too. I accessorised with a peace choker, diamond sunglasses, a velvet backpack, fishnet socks and some chunky buckled shoes.
