The Ultimate Sassy Shirt.... Kenzo X H&M

Earlier this month Kenzo finally released their long awaited collaboration with H&M. There were so many fab pieces and for a taste of a designer piece the items were reasonably priced but they were still a little out of my price range. So I didn't race online the moment they went on sale as I didn't want the temptation of having items in my basket that I couldn't afford. I did however go online a couple of hours after the rush and there were still a few pieces available. I had already had my eye on the green tiger print silk shirt, so when it was still in stock the temptation got the better of me. I managed to get a code for 25% off and free delivery which brought the price down quite a bit, so I felt it was a bargain for such an exclusive piece and something I definitely needed! It arrived in kenzo striped paper with a tiger sticker which I thought was a really nice touch.

The shirt itself is absolutely gorgeous, it's pure silk with a bright green tiger stripe all over. It has double ruffle collar detail with the most amazing beadwork, it has black tigers on either side all in tiny beads and the buttons all have kenzo written on them. I have to be careful what shade of greens I can wear due to my hair being green, but this shade matches perfectly! I teamed it with some vintage leather trousers serving up 80s realness with the high waisted style and bead detail. I finished the look with my fave vintage bag and some lace up sandals, I let the shirt do all the talking so didn't wear any jewellery which is a rarity for me, but I think this shirt is sassy enough on its own!

Mermaid Vibin & DIY Denim!!!

A couple of posts ago I blogged my denim jacket that I diy'ed, when I did the jacket I also diy'ed some jeans. I actually meant to blog this outfit ages ago but totally forgot about it, so it's quite a summery look, but I'm not about those winter vibes anyway! I got these vintage jeans from a charity ages ago and hadn't worn them in a while, so I decided I'd freshen them up with some fun patches. I added a few rainbow patches and some assorted sequin patches including an amazing mermaid one! I sewed some rainbow sequin trim on the pockets at the front and back and double rainbows on the bum. The patches didn't seem to stick down that well when I ironed them on so I had to hand sew them too, it did take a while but I think it's worth the work! You can literally diy patch anything and there's so many cool patches around at the moment, I definitely want to try and do some more items. It's a easy and fairly cheap way to update something and make it feel like something totally different and new!

I teamed it with a basic crop top and the cutest little shrug I got from the Thrift shop in Manchester for about £4. It has a mermaid/chain print and I absolutely adore the colours, adding to the mermaid vibe I wore this cute shell necklace and my holographic shell bag. Finished off with some tiny pearl studs, fishnet socks and some turquoise flatform sandals.

Minnie Mouse Vibes!!!

So as soon as Halloween was over Christmas is already being shoved down our throats, I'm really not a festive person but I swear it gets earlier every year, and then it's gone in a flash! Christmas aside these winter months do bring the icy cold weather with them, which I am certainly not a fan of. But I've still got a couple of outfits to blog from when it wasn't quite so cold, today's being one of them. I'm a massive charity shop shopper and have got alot of my wardrobe from them, including this fabulous vintage shirt! Totally getting Minnie Mouse vibes from this cute polka dot blouse with ruffle front detail and it was only a few pounds. I teamed it with this pu leather fringe detail skirt that I got in the sale for a 5er from H&M! I wore my fave patent boots from last winter which are still going strong and a suede teardrop bag. As the shirt has got a huge ruffle front and there's fringing on the skirt I kept accessories minimal with some chunky gold earrings and finishing off with a cute scrunchie with bow/ear effect adding to the Minnie Mouse vibe!
