The Rainbow Jacket of dreams!!!

I actually took these photos a while back and totally forgot to blog this outfit and as it's getting very autumny I thought I better blog it before the sunshines all gone. It was a really sunny day and there was a real glare, so they're not the best quality pictures unfortunately but I just had to blog this jacket!  I picked up the most amazing Rainbow striped suede jacket in Beyond Retro in London in the summer. As soon as I saw it I fell in love, the colours are amazing and it was in such perfect condition for a vintage item. As soon as I tried it on I knew I had to have it, and it fit perfectly! It has short sleeves with fab gold/coloured square detail buttons down the front. For this look I teamed it with a shiny pvc burnt orange A line skirt and a vintage lace detail cami. I wore a daisy detail 3 way headband and a couple of necklaces and my mini metallic backpack. I completed the look with blue frilly socks and white sandals and my fave rainbow sunnies. I included a picture of the day I wore this outfit when I had the most fabulous pina colada cocktail in a pineapple, gosh I miss summer already!!!

Rainbow Stripes & Leather!!!

A couple of months back when I was in London I went to the huge Beyond Retro store/warehouse off Brick lane, it was so amazing and I literally could've bought so many things. Unfortunately I couldn't afford much at the time so only made a couple of purchases, they did have a great sale section with amazing prices where I picked up this amazing rainbow striped top for, wait for it... 5 English pounds!! I couldn't believe the price and snapped it up immediately, the colours are amazing and I love the double button fastening, giving the look of a double breasted jacket. The buttons are pretty cool aswell with the gold detailing. I decided to make it the main focus of the outfit and rather than tucking it in as I do with a lot of tops I wore it out over a leather look mini skirt. I teamed it with my patent ankle boots and my fave vintage bag. I accessoried with a chunky 'A' necklace and matching 'A' earrings.

Feeling Fruity!!!

So I know it's gone pretty cold and is definitely feeling like Autumn but I took these photos a few weeks ago and just hadn't got round to blogging this look. But I thought why not brighten up an Autumn's day with a summery look and this outfit certainly does that! I got this fab shirt in a charity shop when I was in Chester in the summer, it was only about £2 and I am absolutely obsessed with the Fruity print. I like the stripes in the print too and the bold bright colours are some of my fave shades to wear. I decided to wear it as more of a jacket than a shirt for this look and layered it over my fave crochet dress with a lime/yellow cami dress underneath. I went for some sparkly yellow/lime socks to match with some white sandals. I accessoried with my mini metallic backpack, a feather detail headband, a couple of chokers and some cute pompom earrings. The leaves may be falling and the sunshine may be getting less but I love my summer wardrobe and bright colours so I will try and squeeze a few more bright outfit posts in before the years out!!
