Mosaic print & cape sleeves!!!

A couple of months back Ark had 50% off everything in the sale, I got a few amazing bargains and today's post is one of them. By the way I'm absolutely gutted Ark has now closed down, I was sad when all my local stores closed but now the website and stores have all gone I'm so gutted, it was always a go to store for affordable and fab clothes. So back to the outfit, I got this Motel dress with cape effect sleeves and a gorgeous mosaic hand printed design to the material, with the 50% of the sale price I think it was about £5.50 which is amazing to say it had £45 on the tag. I love the colours in the print and the cut out detail to the neck. Due to the neck of the dress you don't really need a necklace so I just accessoried with some big hoops. I used my black suede tassel bag and wore fishnets and my fave black boots. Last time I looked they did still have this dress on the motel rocks site on sale, although it wasn't quite as cheap as I snapped it up for. I do love a good bargain but especially when it's as fab as this!!

Rainbow life!!!

I absolutely love the brand Unif but it is a bit on the expensive side, so I usually just have to lust after everything and never get it. One thing I have been lusting over is there stripe jumpers, I loved the crayola jumper in the rainbow stripe then they released the frost jumper in the pastel which was even nicer!! They sold out immediately and were a little pricey for me anyway, but I did keep seeing dupes online. I don't really like to have copies but they were so cheap I thought I may aswell give one a go. I haven't managed to find a copy of the pastel for that cheap and didn't want to pay too much when it isn't the real deal, so went for the rainbow stripe which I got for about £8 on eBay. It came from China so I had to wait a couple of weeks, it isn't as good quality or as bright as the unif one, it's also a bit more fitted and shorter but you can't really moan for £8 and it's still a great knit. It's not quite long enough to wear like a dress so I put a black skirt underneath. I wore black fishnets, black patent ankle boots and a backpack for a relaxed casual look. I layered a few necklaces to finish the look. It's a really nice cosy knit that's just easy to throw on and for the price it's great value, so if you can't find or afford the real deal I'd recommend it.

Pleats, Patent & Pvc!!!

As you probably know from my other posts I love a good charity shop, especially when you get a good gem at a bargain price! I few weeks back I went to Lincoln with my mum, I'd never been before but it's such a lovely place and they have some great charity shops. They had this great shop that you wouldn't even think was a charity shop, it had a real boutique feel with the way it was laid out and had a few new pieces aswell as second hand bargains. Aswell as that it had a vintage section at the back of the shop with vintage clothing, furniture and knick knacks like singer sewing machines and cute buttons.

I got a couple of things in there including this amazing pleated shirt with pussybow collar, I thought it was vintage at first but it is Forever 21 and actually still had the labels in. I did notice it had a little pen mark on it so the lady in the shop said I could have it at half price so I got it for £3.50, absolute steal! To my joy the pen mark came out easily and I'm so glad cause I love the shirt and it's a great addition to my collection of white blouses! I wanted to sass it up a bit so tucked it into a black high shine pvc pencil skirt. You can never have enough pvc/patent so my patent ankle boots were the perfect match, aswell as a vintage patent quilt effect bag. With the detail of the neckline of the shirt I simply added some gold chunky earrings to finish the look.

I'm trying to get my hair back to health after absolutely trashing it when I went from black to orange, which is proving more difficult than I thought. I've been trying to put it up as much as possible in the week and lay off the heat with straighteners etc where possible so thought I'd try some little plaits and pin it back, it's not the neatest but it wasn't too bad for a first try and I thought it went with the look quite well. Also I let my hair fade the most I ever have whilst it's been green here which was a task in itself. I also haven't done my roots in 3 months but I kinda don't mind them with this colour, so I'm trying to lay off grabbing for the bleach for as long as possible! If anyone has any tips for healthy hair and to help it grow please hit a sistuh up?!!
