Glitz Glamour and Grunge: July 2016

In my last couple of posts I said how rubbish I've been at posting recently and I've been even worse since then as it's been weeks since my last post. I've been so busy and just haven't had the time to take pictures and if I'm honest I've kind of lost a bit of inspiration for blogging. I'm going to try and get back into it though, it's just hard to find the time and keep motivated to blog when you kinda feel like 'what's the point?!!'

Anyway if you've seen my blog posts before you're probably aware I love vintage clothing, especially when you find an absolute gem at such a great price. This post features one of those items! I got the most amazing bomber jacket from eBay and when it came it was so much nicer in real life and was Betty Barclay, a brand that I often look for when searching for vintage pieces. The seller obviously didn't realise that it was any kind of brand when they listed it as it wasn't mentioned, which meant I won it for the absolute steal of £4!! It was unworn so came in immaculate condition, it's a cream background with a pastel shell print all over it, perfect for a mermaid wannabe like me! It's in a lovely silky lightweight material so is the perfect jacket for this time of year. I picked out the coral shades in it and teamed it with this cute stripy off the shoulder top, it was only £6 from Primark so an absolute bargain! I'm hoping they'll do it in other colours as I love the style. I teamed it with another Primark bargain this denims a-line skirt. I wanted a white one last year but they sold out so quick, so I got this as soon as I saw it and for only £10 it's a great price. I wore some cute sheer coral socks and some white sandals, an off white backpack and a ying yang pendant choker, finishing off with some pinky/coral marble effect sunglasses to complete the look!
