The Light Up Rocket bag, Print & Purpleness!!!

I'm obsessed with skinnydip and it's fabulous phones cases and accessories, they're so fun and unique. I wanted the light up rocket phone case so badly and finally ended up buying it in Topshop in the January sales, but when I got home it didn't light up (cry). I took it back and none of them worked so I ended up swapping it for the fabulous holographic/glitter rocket bag as that did light up, I wasn't sure I needed it but now I'm so glad I got it. It is really small and hard to get things out of but it looks so sassy, so who cares! The only bad thing about it is the lights don't last long at all and you can't change the batteries. Mine ran out last week when I was out and I was devastated, I'd literally only turned it on a couple of times to show people so hadn't got any use from the lights :-( But it still looks great lights or no lights so I can live with it.

I have used the bag for a few nights out but decided to use it for a daytime look with this outfit. As it's got quite a few colours it goes with so much more than you'd think, but I don't mind clashing colours anyway. I teamed it with one of my fave vintage shirts I got from a vintage fair a few years back. The colours match the bag perfectly and I love the bright chain print design. Keeping with the matchy matchiness I tucked the shirt into some bright purple shorts from River Island with a black chunky belt. I kept accesories simple and just went for a couple of black chokers to tie in with the belt. Unfortunately it is still winter so I wore black fishet tights, patent boots and threw on my black fringe pu leather jacket to keep off the chill. Although we keep having some ice cold days I am loving it staying lighter that little bit longer in the evening and seeing more of the spring sunshine showing its face. It definitely feels like spring is on the way and I can't wait to get my spring/summer wardrobe back out!

Cosy knit & Vintage leather!!

The problem with working in a shop is you do tend to buy things you maybe don't need, especially when they go in the sale! One of those things I recently got was this fabulous knitted gilet cardigan with super soft shearling fur around the collar. With my staff discount it was only £9 so too good of a bargain to refuse and it's so soft and cosy! I teamed it with another Oasis number, this black polo neck top, it's a great basic to have and is in a lovely fitted ribbed material. I tucked this into a black vintage leather skirt that I got years ago and customised with studs. The gilet is quite sophisticated so it's nice to wrap around and let that be the main part of the outfit but I thought it was nice to have a bit of detail with the studs when I did undo the gilet. I went for a simple cross necklace and a suede fringe bag finished off with fishnets and my face patent boots.

Leopard Lady!!!

I love print and have always been a big lover of leopard print. It's one of those prints that just comes around time and time again and never really dates. I do love clashing a leopard print sometimes but went for a more toned down look with this outfit. I got these fab leopard print culottes from H&M in the sale for a 5er. I kept it safe tucking in a black Bardot off the shoulder top that I got for £3 from work in the sale, bargain!! As the top is quite a floaty style I put a chunky waist belt on to cinch me in and give the outfit a bit of shape. You can't really see that well in the pictures but I wore my fishnets underneath, so you can see the fishnet where the culottes end. I went for my patent ankle boots which are just the right length to give a bit of a gap between the boots and trousers. I used my suede/leather fringe detail bag and black fedora, finishing off with a tattoo choker and cross necklace.
