Pastel shades & shell print!!!

When I went to Brighton I did some charity shop shopping and found the most amazing shirt. It's in beautiful pastel colours with a fabulous shell print, totally getting mermaid vibes!! I'd seen a shirt like this at Glastonbury but it was quite expensive so I had to leave it behind. So I was ecstatic when I saw this and knew it had me written all over it. It was £6.99 which is fairly pricey for a charity shop but still an absolute bargain. I tucked it into a pastel blue pvc skirt with matching pastel blue lips. I wore a Pastel pink mini satchel bag and metallic pink shoes with sheer polka dot socks. The shirt has fab detailed starfish buttons so I kept jewellery to a minimum and just wore some statement earrings. Finishing off with some mint green wayfarer sunglasses.

I'm loving... Laundry Boutique!!!

Last week I received a gorgeous package from Laundry Boutique. They started off as a standalone store in Altrincham in 2010 and have since expanded wth stores now in Brighton, Chester, London, Northwich and Stockton Heath, aswell as their online store, but if your local to these areas be sure to go check the stores out. As I'm not local to any of these places I have only browsed their online store, they're an independent boutique so there's constantly new stock being added online. They're currently starting to get they're Autumn/Winter stock in and although I'm not ready for Autumn just yet there's some great pieces on there and it can never hurt to stock up early right?!

I received this gorgeous embroided blouse, it's cream with burgundy/blue stitching detail on the sleeves and a rope tie neck that can be worn loosely off the shoulders or tighter on the shoulders for two different looks. It has burgundy tassel detail on the ends of the rope too which is a nice touch. It also has cut out detail throughout the shirt. I love that it has a festival/boho vibe and it's great for now but will also be great going into Autumn/Winter. So I went for a transitional Summer/Autumn look and teamed it with my new flare jeans from Oasis. I don't wear jeans that often but I liked that they are high waisted and really liked the fit. I do wish they were slightly more flared but I still love them and know I'll get loads of wear out of them coming into Autumn/winter. Playing on the boho vibe of the blouse I added a chain detail belt and beaded choker. Finishing off the look with tan shoes, a patchwork leather backpack and round sunglasses.

What I'm wearing.... Crochet, floral, fringing & leather!!!

As I've said in my previous posts I'm trying to do some damage control on my hair. So this week I've been trying not to straighten it and instead opted for putting it in some rollers for a bit after washing it. Even after an hour it gave it some volume and looked much fuller so I'm going to try and do that as much as possible (when I have time). I got this fab floral kimono/jacket in the sale from Select a few weeks ago, I think it was only £8! I love the fringing at the back and the colours in the print will be great for going into autumn, aswell as the end of this summer we've barely had. I'm still not over summer yet so teamed it with a crochet bralet and leather look joggers. I accessorised with layered chokers/necklaces, framework sunglasses and flatform sandals.
